Wellness Retreat for grievers…

Nestled on the outskirts of rural Elk Grove, Cliff’s Garden is a simple, peaceful getaway to explore and process grief while experiencing self-care and nature.

Jill, the Together We Heal Community founder started volunteering with Cliff over 10 years ago, and has collaborated in service to grievers in the community.

This special event is an offering to all grievers to come as they are, grief-in-tow to work through the multi-faceted layers of healing.

~A day designed to offer you rest, support and solace.

~An event to leave you refreshed and at peace, with new experiences to help you build a life filled with joy.

~Activities vary within each retreat and often include writing, nature, meditation, yoga, massage, nutrition & grief therapy.

FAQ’s

Commonly asked questions on our wellness retreat.

What do I need to bring?

~This is an all-day event: please bring sunscreen, a hat if you wish, sunglasses, a reusable water bottle, a towel or yoga mat to lay down in the grass.

What do I wear?

~Comfortable clothing and shoes, hat or sunglasses. Flip flops can be brought along, however we will be going on a nature walk through the farm, so close-toed shoes are prefered for that activity.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

~Most of the retreat is held on grass, pavement or gravel. Wheelchairs would be difficult to navigate.

Do I need to go to all the breakout sessions?

~No, you are free to opt-out of any breakout session and spend the time however you choose.

Do I need to be experiencing grief through a death to attend?

~No, all grievers from any type of loss are welcome.

Are men allowed to attend?

~Yes, men are welcome to attend.
