A safe and compassionate space for mothers who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of their child. This support group will be facilitated by two moms who know this pain firsthand. A Grieving Mothers' Circle was created with the deep understanding of child loss, where our beloved children will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Our hope is that we grieve in community by sharing our children’s’ lives and speaking openly about our feelings and thoughts in a supportive environment. Tears, laughter and all other feelings are welcome, without judgment.

A Grieving Mothers' Circle is a place where no explanation is needed. Where your child's name can be spoken out loud. Where you will be surrounded by moms who accept and understand you and your grief.

The journey of child loss is one we never signed up for, but it does not need to be walked alone.

Once a month, drop-in meetings.

Core Goals

1. Create A Safe, Nonjudgemental Space-To provide a confidential and compassionate environment where mothers can share their loss experience openly without fear of judgement, comparison, or pressure.

2. Reduce Isolation-To help mothers feel less alone by connecting with others who understand the heartbreaking loss of a child firsthand.

3. Honor Our Children- To create space for remembering, speaking their child’s name, and sharing their unique story. Helping mothers maintain connection with their child in meaningful ways.

4. Normalize The Bereavement Experience- To reassure mothers that their emotions-whether sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, or even moments of peace and joy-are valid and part of bereavement.

5. Foster Connection And Community-To build relationships among group members, creating a sense of belonging and support. A community that supports emotional connection through sharing and listening or through activities like writing or crafts.

6. Empower the Journey of Mourning -To meet each mother where she is, whether newly grieving or years into loss, without overwhelming or “fixing”, or expectation of “moving on”. Offering hope without pressure or forcing positivity or timeline.
