I began practicing mindfulness and meditation more than 20 years ago due to the challenges of chronic illness. Since that time, I have found these teachings and techniques to be not only supportive, but deeply transformative. They are interwoven into all aspects of my life - an "inner GPS" of sorts for this human journey.
I consider it a tremendous honor to be able to share the wisdom and compassion of Vipassana Meditation with you, to guide you home to yourself. There truly is no greater gift than the gift of presence.
I hold degrees in Psychology and Education and am a graduate of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program under senior teachers Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. I have also completed the Mindful Schools training and Level 1 iRest Yoga Nidra teacher training.
Prior to becoming a mindfulness teacher, I taught elementary school for 20 years. Children taught me the importance of an open heart and an open mind, qualities I hope to share with you.
