Grieving Together: A Gentle Session for Family and Friends

Grieving Together: A Gentle Session for Family & Friends
In partnership with Together We Heal

Saturday, June 21st

4:00-5:30pm (PST)

Zoom

Grief is deeply personal and tender—and it can also be shared.
Whether you've lost a loved one or are navigating a life transition, this session invites you and those close to you to pause, rest, and gently navigate grief—together.

This isn’t a therapy session. It's a quiet offering. A space to soften what feels heavy.

A supportive, non-traditional setting for families, friends, partners—anyone navigating loss—to simply be together, without pressure or expectation.

What to expect

We’ll use Yoga Nidra, a deeply restful guided meditation, to soothe the nervous system and offer a quiet space for emotional processing. You’ll be verbally guided through a relaxation sequence that helps the body rest, and the heart feel supported—no movement, no need to speak or share.

There’s no movement or yoga postures involved. No meditation experience needed. All you need is a quiet space to lie down or recline, and maybe a blanket to feel cozy.

Journaling after the session may be supportive, and you’ll receive optional reflection prompts before and after the session to explore at your own pace.

Why come as a family or friend group?

  • Share a calming experience without needing to talk

  • Support one another other in a low-pressure space where all emotions are welcomed and not judged

  • Reconnect after the session with deeper understanding and compassion

This session is for you if...
