Talking Points~Mens Grief Support Group
A five-week group experience tailored for men who have suffered a loss of a loved one. It is a group experience founded in honoring men’s grief experience at the present time, how the loss has impacted their wellbeing, and how they view the world post death.
Talking Points is centered on growth, acceptance and healing.
The focus of this group experience is to provide education and awareness on:
~The dynamics of grief that is specific to men.
~An understanding the biology of acute grief,
~the mourning trajectory of the healing journey.
~Identifying barriers that prevent individuals from moving forward.
~Gender differences in the loss.
~The impact on relationships with others.
~Health risk for men who avoid addressing the grief experience.
If you have suffered a loss and feel that you have no forum of coping with your loss, Talking Points may be an experience that can help you in your grief journey.
Meets weekly for five weeks.
Each meeting is two hours long from 6:00pm – 8:00 pm.
